Christmas 2009

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. We started a new tradition for our family, one that Devan grew up with, 12 Days of Christmas- Secret Santa style. It was a BLAST. All 12 nights we would ding dong ditch some presents on our secret families door step and run. I cannot believe I've never done this before. It is awesome. We had a few close calls and one twisted ankle, but they never found out it was us. Our secret family next year better watch out because I'm already making plans.
Unfortunately Devan had to work on Christmas Day so we celebrated on the 24th. All month Jamis was fascinated with the lights, tree, ornaments, paper, pictures, and nativities. He didn't quite know what to think of opening presents though. Who cared what was in the box, he just wanted the box. Future younger siblings can thank Jamis when all they get for their first few Christmas's is empty boxes!

Christmas Eve we also had a few friends over for our traditional Ham Feast. Yummy dinner, good friends, and Peanut Butter Pie, what more could you ask for.
Christmas Day Jamis and I visited Daddy at work and then joined our second family, the Arne's, for Christmas Dinner and fun. I am so thankful this Christmas Season for Family, Friends, and most of all for my Savior.
