Happy Birthday Jamis!!!

Happy Birthday Jamis!!!  Little man is THREE!!!
We had a fun family party in honor of our birthday boy.  All day long all he could talk about was eating cake and singing the birthday song.  This year he wanted a pink cake with pink ice cream.  I had to add the blue sprinkles for my own sense of decency.  Funny kid ended up not even eating his cake.  He just want to blow the candles out.  What a fun day.

So excited to finally have fire on his cake
Grandma and Papa sent Jamis his very own Lighting McQueen chair
Every big boy needs a big boy bike.
So proud.  We love you Jamis!

This year I also started a new birthday tradition.  I came up with a lit of questions that I will ask Jamis (and all the other kids) every year on their birthday.  I can't wait to see how their answers change throughout the years.
This year Jamis:
-Favorite color is Red
-Favorite Food is Pancakes
- His best friend is Mom
-His favorite song is the ABC song
-His favorite movie is Barney
-His favorite thing to do is ride bike
-His favorite toy is his Lighting McQueen car (really anything dealing with cars though)
-His favorite drink is milk
-His favorite place to go is Target (I think its because we get popcorn when we go)
-When he grows up he wants to be a fireman.

What a little man.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2011

I am SO thankful for Thanksgiving this year.  Sounds pretty dumb I know, but seriously what an amazing weekend we had.  Everything that happened is everything I am MOST grateful for.
#1- Devan had the ENTIRE weekend off.
#2- My boys got to go "camping" together.  I am so grateful for a husband that plays with my children.  I am so grateful for children who love and look up to their daddy.

#3- I am so grateful that these 3 men are ALL mine for ALL eternity.
#4- I am so grateful for this little stinker.  I love how excited his eyes get with everything he sees.  I love listening to him squeal.  I am SOOO glad he is finally apart of our family.  I'm so grateful that he is finally sleeping through the night.  And even though he weighs a TON, I am grateful for the wonderful bicep workout he gives me throughout the day.
#4- Jamis, Jamis, Jamis.  What would I do without this little man.  I am so grateful for his honesty.  I am so grateful for his manners and willingness to always help.  I love listening to him sing all day long.  I love that he randomly gives me hugs and kisses throughout the day.  He just melts my heart.
#5- I am so grateful my children love each other.
#6- I am so grateful for a husband that will watch all my friends children so I can have running buddies.  I am so grateful to have the ability to run.
#7-  I am so grateful for friends who have quickly become family.  I am so grateful to be able to share Thanksgiving with them.
#8-  I am so grateful to live in such a beautiful city, in a free country.
#9-  I am grateful that I was able to get my limited quantity doorbuster item.  I am grateful to have learned never to be apart of Black Friday again.
#10- I am greatful for the chance to sit and ponder all that I have to be greatful for.  I could go on and on and on, but the point is that I love life.  I am so greatful to be on earth.  I love where I am and opportunites I have.  We are truly truly blessed.

Check this out!!!

Signal Mountain has this amazing park called the Pumpkin Patch.  This place has the hugest slides ever, a zip line, tons of bouncy tires, and on and on.  I'm not sure who had more fun, us or the boys.

 Weeeeee

 Playing in the leaves

Jax is so in love with slides these days.  Every time I put him on one, he flaps his arms and squeals so loud.  So freakin cute.

What a perfect day

Bathtime Bliss

25% of the time we take a bath to get clean, the other 75% of the time its a form of entertainment

Christmas time is on its way

It seems like every year the Christmas season begins earlier and earlier.  Christmas trees are up before the Halloween Candy even gets passed out.  Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining.  I love Christmas and wish the season was all year.  Just an observation.
So in the spirit of kicking the Holidays off right, the Mall put on a Christmas parade.  Our good friend is the mall manager and invited Jamis to ride in it with Santa.
Jamis was SO excited to be apart of everything.
He was so excited that he had a hard time sitting down, and Mrs. Claus almost had him put on the naughty list.

Dad and Jax enjoying the festivities
 Here they come
 Good Job Jamis!!!
